I have a lot to be thankful for in my life at this point. I for now live in Transitional Housing for Veterans in Port Orchard. Depression and Alcohol were the two things that got me into this program. I have learned to take ownership in the things I have done in my life, and to stop blaming other people for the things I chose to do in my life. Nobody forced me to drink I did that of my own free will. Depression for me was not something I could shake off like some people, and I did not want to be on medicine so I used alcohol as my band aid.
