Friday May 31 2013 is another one of those days that will live in my mind forever! It started as any other day but soon changed and changed my life with it. Being born and raised right here in El Reno Oklahoma I am used to tornados and have experienced many of them. I have never seen anything like what I went through this day. An EF5 with 296 mph winds! I was trapped in my home unable to leave. I saw the tornados out my south window coming for me and my 2 dogs. Only place we could go was the stairwell to the second floor. No way to get under the stairs so we sat on the stairs with windows all around us. This storm was like no other I have ever seen or been through. Suddenly there is water everywhere, there was wind like I have never known before. Four and a half hours later when we could finally come off the stairs my home and property was forever changed.
