No one to share Valentine's Day with in person - but that's OK for now. I used the day as an excuse to buy myself a Wendy's hamburger and have take-out for lunch yesterday. I always make my own lunches so I guess this was a treat. I had planned to buy lunch with my friend Dennis at work but he was out at a job site until 3 pm. Dennis is a good soul overall and he has been paying the medical bills for his 5 year old grandson's leukemia medicine which is over $1500 a month because his daughter can't afford insurance. Dennis also lost his 1998 Volvo to the junkyard because the engine was leaking oil so bad it would not run for more than 20 minutes before losing it all on the ground. The repair bill was $1200 and Dennis already had zero dollars even before paying his expenses.
