RoutaSielu is first of all one of my favorite Finnish Melodic Death Metal bands (with lyrics in Finnish). Also it's a combination 2 words. Routa meaning permafrost and Sielu meaning soul. Together RoutaSielu basically means Frozen Soul. I am a musician, I play guitar (acoustic and electric), bass and drums. I don't search for meaning in life, but instead make meaning from life. I get lots inspiration from Tuomas Saukkonen (Before The Dawn, Dawn of Solace, Black Sun Aeon, RoutaSielu, Wolfheart) and I play very similar style. When I'm writing new songs usually the lyrics and music will come from much negative feelings and very dark place. Acoustic guitar always seems to best cover the feeling of sadness or being depressed. Electric guitars (lead and rhythm) comes with lots of energy and can cover almost all feelings and emotions. Bass guitar is mostly used as percussion type instrument, mainly just to add some deep end to kind of keep the music grounded and loud. Drums is my favorite

I work inside sales for a big ass company and have been for 10 yrs now. I am single, no kids and a bad mofo! HAHAHA.. I have had a page on here for awhile, but just now started to actually get on this thing so still learning the ins and outs. When I am not working hard, HAHAHA, I like to go to pubs, bars, parties, etc.. I am a live music type of guy. Big concerts are good to, but I like intimate settings like in smaller venues or pubs. I am big on baseball, so I go to Astros game all the time. I do like football, basketball, and hockey but not hardcore, so going to those games is not as big of deal, but still like going. I also am big on biking trails. I got into that a little less than a year ago and hooked ever since. I usually go 2 times during the week and on the weekends.
