My name is Kortnie, although I hate my name and hope to be changing it soon. I am 19 years old as of October 21st, 2009 and I am a Freshman at Buffalo State. I grew up without a mother or a father. They were both much to young to take care of a child so I was adopted by my grandmother at nine months. Shortly before starting college I moved out of the house and am a no speaking bases with her, which is truely sad but... life goes on. When I was a Junior in High school I took a college level Forensics class with a friend and it was the best experience of my life. That is what made me decide to go into the field that I am in. I am double majoring in Forensic Science (Chemistry B.S.) and Sociology. Yes, I want to be a lab technician like those on CSI.
