An 18-year-old from Burlington was charged Monday with causing a July 23 police chase that began in Graham and ended when he crashed at Golf Cart World on East Webb Avenue.
The Graham Police Department charged Kyle Marlon Garrison with fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, reckless driving to endanger, driving left of center, resisting a public officer and two counts of hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. Bond was set at $1,000.
Following the chase, Garrison was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center, then released into the custody of his mother. He then went to Moses Cone Health System in Greensboro with unknown injuries. Authorities were unable to serve the warrants until now because he was recovering from injuries.
