My son Ryan Ashkelon Downing was born on September 3, 2008. I can't explain my emotions. I am so thankful and blessed. Thanks to EVERYONE for their help, prayers, and endless support. I could never thank you all enough. After ten years of service I have been medically retired from the military, and now what? The VA had my back, so that makes it easier. I miss my brothers and sisters in arms. I wish they would have let me stay in. What do you do when all you have known is -POOF- gone. It's all good. I know the big man upstairs has got my back as well. I am truly blessed and thankful. My sis and family are finally back, and I am looking in to buying a house. There are two things I know that are true. I have heard it all my life, and blew it off. Everything happens for a reason and MOM IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Thanks to all who are serving and have served.
