I manage a small ranch in NorCal. No cattle; a couple of horses, some chickens and fruit trees and a large garden. Pretty much a caretaker that does construction gardens and general maintenance around here. I'm recovering from a hernia operation right now. Just about all the way there, a couple of weeks or so to go. Much more free time this season of year. I like it here. It's not the redwoods, but they are not more than an hours drive away. The ocean is only two hours away. I am interested in traveling some more. Been to most states in this country. Now I am thinking of going somewhere like Africa. I would like to see the big game migrate. I like to ride my bike when I can and I like to hike and camp. I used to do a lot of fishing, but it has been a while. For years I was involved in Direct Action: save the redwoods, preserve the wetlands and the like. I do want to return to Olympic National Park to compare the photos of the blue glacier I took in 1973 to the glacier
