Penny DreadfulThe majority of you won't like me; here's why:
-I'm straight-forward, sarcastic and bluntly honest. Most people either can't handle that or don't understand it. I never set out to put people off, but if someone happens to take offense to what I have to say, then that's honestly not my problem. That isn't to say that I walk around spouting my opinion. I don't. Generally. But I am human and the part of me that has learned to think before I speak sometimes forgets and an opinion or two slip right on through. That's life, we all make mistakes.
-I don't believe in political correctness. Seriously, half the problem with people today is the thought that they deserve to be coddled. People deserve respect, yes, but tiptoing around an issue because one is afraid to offend is just counter productive. There is no need to be rude, but sugar coating something is tatamount to lying in my opinion. We can agree to disagree, but that's where I stand on that issue.
