friend's

Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow Friends are few and far between. The older I get, the more I realize, How much they mean to me. As children, you think every ones is your friend, Even those you've only just met, Till they leave you to fend. Dropping in number, the fair weathered leave. Onward they go, leaving you nothing to cleave. They are gone like yesterday As the sun did set, they too did fade But some are special, Remaining strong, still today Like diamonds, time chisels, And they sparkle even more. A timeless precious beauty. Solid to the core As I sit and count my friends. Only one hand is needed. The ones that have been there, Through thick and thin. The rest have been weeded. The remaining few, are the jewels of my crown. The ones I call when I am down. The trusted friends, that I too can cheer up. The sound of their voice, refills my cup. I do not mourn, the lack of more. For these special ones, Make my spirit soar. How lucky I am, to have you in my life. Through the good and the bad, And even the strife. This being the season, When we think of gifts. I think of you, And I'm thankful. For I am rich. For what I have, no money could buy. No price could be placed. Thou many have tried. I feel so fortunate, To have a friend in you. You have remained. Steadfast and true. So just for you I write this now. To thank you, in the only way I know how. To say I'm sorry if I neglected to let you know, I appreciate, you and respect you so. I trust you,and feel honored to be part Of your life. If you were gone my world, Just would not be right. I don't want to wait, until it's to late. Leaving unspoken words left up to fate. For what if tomorrow was never to come? Leaving words unspoken, And left undone. Taken nothing for granted, I value you greatly, I hope you know. You are my true friend, Yesterday, today and tomorrow And I love you so.

last one in line

A bus carrying only ugly people crashes into an oncoming truck, and everyone inside dies. As they stand at the Pearly Gates waiting to enter Paradise and meet their maker, God decides to grant each person one wish because of the grief they have experienced. They're all lined up, and God asks the first one what the wish is. "I want to be gorgeous," and so God snaps His fingers, and it is done. The second one in line hears this and says "I want to be gorgeous too." Another snap of His fingers and the wish is granted. This goes on for a while with each one asking to be gorgeous, but when God is halfway down the line, the last guy in the line starts laughing. When there are only ten people left, this guy is rolling on the floor, laughing his head off. Finally, God reaches this last guy and asks him what his wish will be. The guy eventually calms down and says: "Make 'em all ugly again!!" NEXT TIME YOU'RE LAST IN LINE . . BE HAPPY.

rejected

Why do people proclaim their undying love for you Then throw you away like the trash? Was it just the fun of the challenge, to see if they could make you believe? Is there any such thing as true love, or is it just a fleeting moment, one can't label so they call it love? I don't understand. Are people just natuarally cruel? should you never believe when some one says the words "I love you"? Or should you play the game, and say "I love you " back, and make damn sure you don't mean it, because the moment you do, guess what,,, game over... you just lost. Like a video game they go on to start to play the same game again, upset if they are losing happy when they are winning, with someone else. There is a price for eveything, The happiness you feel today you will equally feel , sorrowful, or hurt tomarrow. What goes up will come down, You know it before you start, but fool yourself into believing this time it will be different, "this person really does love me." Is it really worth the price? I think not. Loved one week, abandoned the next, how is this possible? One minute they want to spend they're whole life with you, the next you're not even worth a phone call. They've changed thier mind, and what you feel no longer matters. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Christmas dinner

A woman goes to her boyfriend's parents' house for Christmas dinner. This is to be her first time meeting the family and she is very nervous. They all sit down and begin eating a fine meal. The woman is beginning to feel a little discomfort, thanks to her nervousness and the broccoli casserole. The gas pains are almost making her eyes water. Left with no other choice, she decides to relieve herself a bit and lets out a dainty fart. It wasn't loud, but everyone at the table heard the poof. Before she even had a chance to be embarrassed, her boyfriend's father looked over at the dog that had been snoozing under the woman's chair, and said in a rather stern voice, "Skippy!". The woman thought, "This is great!" and a big smile came across her face. A couple of minutes later, she was beginning to feel the pain again. This time, she didn't even hesitate. She let a much louder and l onger rrrrrip. The father again looked at the dog and yelled, "Dammit Skippy!" Once again the woman smiled and thought "Yes!" A few minutes later the woman had to let another rip. This time she didn't even think about it. She let a fart rip that rivaled a train whistle blowing. Once again, the father looked at the dog with disgust and yelled, "Dammit Skippy, get away from her, before she shits on you!"

God?

An 89-year-old man goes for a physical. All of his tests come back with normal results. The doctor says, "Brian, everything looks great. How are you doing mentally and emotionally? Are you at peace with God?" Brian replies, "God and I are tight. He knows I have poor eyesight, so he's fixed it so when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, poof, the light goes on. When I'm done, poof, the light goes off." "Wow, that's incredible," the doctor says. A little later in the day, the doctor calls Brian's wife. "Ethel," he says, "Brian is doing fine! But I had to call you because I'm in awe of his relationship with God. Is it true that he gets up during the night and poof, the light goes on in the bathroom, and when he's done poof, the light goes out? " "Oh my God!" Ethel exclaims. "He's peeing in the refrigerator again."

surfing life

It's funny how the universe moves in waves very similar to the ocean. When you're in the water your first sense of a wave is barely perceivable, a slight tug of the undertow and a simple swell. Then you can look out and watch it gain momentum not sure of where it will break. As it builds and moves closer you can start to make out where it will crest, when it does you finally see witch way it will go and how long it will last. At the moment the wave reaches you the choice is either catch it or get tumbled .What ever you do you're not in the same place you were no matter how hard you try. In the same way the energy of the universe changes things. At first you barley notice it a simple thought or feeling tugging at you from the back of your mind. As time moves on you can see and feel where the change is coming from. When this energy crests you get your first look at its potential to alter your life and the directions it can take you. And just like a wave you either catch it or get tumbled but you will never be in the same place again. The time you have to make that decision is short and the effects long lasting. However decide you must because more often then not drifting at sea doesn't end well.

my ex sent this to me

How does one put into words the feeling they get when they are in somebody's arms. When you are making love to me ...the times I stopped was because I became so overwhelmed with .....I DON'T KNOW its like you where inside me...yes I know physically you were inside me, but that's not what I mean. It's like sometimes it feels like you can touch my soul. You were going deeper into my psyche Than anyone ever had. I guess that is why they call it "two shall become one" I guess I never really felt that before. You are the only one that can make me moan. You are ..how do I say it? ...perfect. I feel your raw physical force and yet gentleness and my mind spins wildly out of control until there is no option left but to submit, and be conquered. I guess that's what I was scared of , what is on the other side of being conquered? Your body is hard and lean and your dick is truly Vlad the impaler, who shows no mercy. He will get what he wants, and I am the target. Yet he is just the weapon Your weapon, and instrument of gaining access into my soul . So it is the mind behind the weapon that I truly feared..I think. As I lay there breathless and all I can do is pant..I can't think anymore. All I can do is feel. And before I know what is happening with each thrust, I have become dependant on the next. Must have it .. Need it. Wow. My body trembles and my mind is gone, you have complete control. Sometimes my mind fights back, in order to try to protect it's self from it's new master. I can feel my heart start to race even now just from remembering, and can't help but smile. Your arms... Hmm.. (big smile) your arms ( you know how much I always liked your arms) they hold me so tight And in that instant time has stood still. And we are one, and I am completely yours. Every demon I ever fought is slain, there is no tomorrow, no yesterday, only that second , I feel the acceptance and love and protection, and most of all the unity. I never want that second to end. Afterwards I lay in your arms and I feel so unbelievably close to you, I purr, and like a child I don't want to let go of my new found security And nourishment. We lay like that till you must go, then my mind goes ..HELLO...COME BACK TO EARTH. And I'm left puzzled .."how did he do that?"

if you want to cry

Two Choices What would you do?....you make the choice. Don't look for a punch line, there isn't one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice? At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves learning-disabled children, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question: "When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does is done with perfection. Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do. Where is the natural order of things in my son?" The audience was stilled by the query. The father continued. "I believe that when a child like Shay, physically and mentally handicapped come s into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child." Then he told the following story: Shay and his father had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, "Do you think they'll let me play?" Shay's father knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but the father also understood that if his son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps. Shay's father approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, "We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning." Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. His Father watched with a small tear in his eye and warmth in his heart. The boys saw the father's joy at his son being accepted. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three. In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as his father waved to him from the stands. In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again. Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat. At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game? Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't eve n know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball. However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact. The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed. The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay. As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher. The game would now be over. The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman. Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game. Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman's head, out of reach of all team mates. E veryone from the stands and both teams started yelling, "Shay, run to first! Run to first!" Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base. He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled. Everyone yelled, "Run to second, run to second!" Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base. By the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball ... the smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team. He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head. Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home. All were screaming, "Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay" Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turn ing him in the direction of third base, and shouted, "Run to third! Shay, run to third!" As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, "Shay, run home! Run home!" Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team. "That day", said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, "the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world". Shay didn't make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making his father so happy, and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day! AND NOW A LITTLE FOOTNOTE TO THIS STORY: We all send thousands of jokes through the e-mail without a second thought, but when it comes to sending messages about life choices, people hesitate. The crude, vulgar, and often obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion about decency is too often suppressed in our schools and workplaces. If you're thinking about forwarding this message, chances are that you're probably sorting out the people in your address book who aren't the "appropriate" ones to receive this type of message. Well, the person who sent you this believes that we all can make a difference. We all have thousands of opportunities every single day to help realize the "natural order of things." So many seemingly trivial interactions between two people present us with a choice: Do we pass along a little spark of love and humanity or do we pass up those opportunities and leave the world a little bit colder in the process? A wise man once said every society is judged by how it treats it's least fortunate amongst them. You now have two choices: 1. Delete 2. Forward May your day, be a Shay Day. ps my little bor is this way
