To start off I would like to THANK YOU now for taking the time to read this. We all run around the make believe world of Fu for different reasons but sometimes real life hits our hearts.
My daughter Kait met her soul mate two years ago. Phillip was in the Air Force serving is country in Japan. They have moved back to the states and live in Ga. The next step in their lives was getting wed and starting a family. Rowen Marie was born on Oct 7th 2014.
After a quick hug and kiss from Mom and Dad, Rowen was hurried out of the delivery room. The Docs realized she had a problem. She was born with a rare birth defect called bladder exstrophy. You can google it for a full run down but in short the hips do not form right leaving no room for all her organs so the bladder is outside her body. At two days old she was rushed off in an ambulance to the airport where she flew from Ga. to Fl. for her first (of many to come) surgeries.
The next 20 days Rowen spent in the NICU recovering from her surgery. The plan was to break her hips and insert the bladder. Rowen lay in traction for over 2 weeks in her hospital cube not being able to do anything.
Unfortunately, only 2 months after her initial surgery we found out the procedure had failed. A new plan of attack was needed. A second opinion from Dr. Gearhart at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore was arranged. Dr. Gearhart is the number one expert in bladder exstrophy and takes a very special interest in failed initial closures. We have scheduled Rowens next surgery in the beginning of March. She will have a repeated of the surgery, breaking her hips, traction 6 to 8 weeks, reinsert her bladder.

A Great way to help! One of my friends thought of this yesterday and I think it would be an awesome way to help without adding to your budget if you are a VIP. I understand a lot of us have a ton of bills. Money is tight and even a good cause like this we can not swing. Her ideal was NOT to renew her VIP this month. Let it run out (if on auto U must go to settings to turn off) and donate that $15 to HELP Rowen. We will call this campaign, GOING WHITE FOR ROWEN.
