Alright y'all, I have the chance to go to officer school this spring. I'll throw out the pros and cons and help me make up my mind.

PROS
Better Pay
More Responsibility
No more stupid private bullshit jobs
Looks better for the resume
Get into the officer's club (not really a big deal)


Cons
None of the enlisted respect you at first
I am scheduled to go to Iraq again early '09...but this would change that to most likely getting deployed this year.


I am torn on this one. Do I join go to Officer School to become and LT?
