What Have I Become?

Nights come and go, every day she could feel a change in herself. Yearning for something. The something that could fill that void in her darkness. Even though she couldn't stand to be in her own skin, she needed herself. The only soul she could trust. The only one who couldn't break her heart.

For the safety of her sanity she only called upon herself for direction. Her heart begged for love and affection, but she had to protect herself from the demons and devils that walked the lands and streets of earth. As the nights turned to days, she could feel this change more and more consuming her, wanting her. This self inflicting infection only made her want to bleed and laugh at all who tried to tame her.

As this sacred blood falls from her wounds she can here a voice call to her in this haze, for I call to her from the inside, we are one in the same... I am the blood that will fall and she will live on. I am the halo that has become her noose. For our name is Raven. I will be at fault for your downfall, all I will accomplish is tearing you down. I will show you the door to my hell, where my blood will spill.

You will never forget what I have done to you. Everytime you close your eyes you will see what I have done to my flesh, my blood. Even after I have returned to my darkness, There will never be forgiveness for my sins...
