I AM BACK

To all of those who have me in family, I want to say thank you for your patience, while I was inactive. I appreciate you, and want you to know that...

I AM BACK!!!

I purchased a house in mid-January, but it was missing 3 gates for the fence, so I had to get those installed. Due to COVID, they were backed up, so mid-March was the first available chance for that to happen. In the meantime, I took the chance to start moving, so that it would not be rushed, and I was able to continue FU-ing. Once those gates were installed, after a short delay, I kicked into overdrive.

I started living in my house during the first week of April, but there was a lot of confusion with the transfer of my cable and internet, so I was living on Gilligan's Island for a few days. Then I got the COVID vaccine, and that put me down for a few days. After that, I worked most days until 7pm, then from 7-10pm, I would pack, clean, move, and unpack. All this time, I only had my cars to move stuff. I did not want to rent a truck, and try to cram everything into a few hours, or a day. I waited this long, so I could afford to be patient a little longer.

Today, May 2nd, I moved my appliances and furniture, and paid my final month of rent. No more paying rent, and a mortgage. No more paying for electric, gas, water, and trash, at 2 places. No more breaking my back for 3 hours each night. Now I can organize everything, and take my time doing it. I can relax, and FU.

For those of you who did not remove me, and had faith that I would be back soon, I thank you. For those who removed me after a week, you know who you are, please do not add me back. I have been running for 3 years, and have run 400-500 famps, but you dropped me. That stings a little, but not nearly as much as it will sting, watching me run the next 400-500 famps, while you sit on the sidelines. On a side note, the whole time I was running those famps, I was saving for a house. From February until now, I was paying on 2 places, and all of the bills that go along with it, while still running. Today just cut my bills by well over $1K per month, and now I have more time to relax and FU, so yeah, there's that too. My loyal family will reap the benefit of their patience, so again I want to say thank you, and I truly do appreciate everything you have done, and continue to do for me. Thank you so much! =)

Fubar Fakes

I have noticed that people who were banned, keep trying to sneak back on to Fubar. They are usually easy to spot, since they do things that typical noobs would not know how to do. They also do not announce that they are back, and deny that they have been on Fubar before. There is a reason they were banned in the first place, and should remain that way. If spotted soon enough, it saves a lot of people from being scammed, conned, catfished, or defrauded.

The typical fake profile will not have a salute, but will level rapidly. They will also run powerups like a veteran user, and offer buy ins, even though noobs don't have the first clue about buy ins. Some will offer pictures for coins or bling, funding their fubar existence, with no regard to others. Once those people realize that they were victimized, they are usually too embarrassed to say anything, and simply log off, never to be seen again. It is sad, because they would have probably continued to enjoy fubar, and helped others.

Another tell is the bling. These people will start to accumulate a lot of powerups, or limited edition blings, but there is no reciprocation. If the bling is not private, simply look to see if it was swapped. In most cases, it was not.

Buying into their famps, helps fund them until they get their hooks into some lesser known members. They use higher profile family members(red and yellow names)to validate themselves. It is used to distract from the lack of a verified salute photo, and draw lesser known members into their trap. Those are the most vulnerable, since they do not pay close attention.

If the fake is called out, they will claim to be real, and may even say that their salute was rejected. If this were the case, they would keep the rejected salute, so others could see, but not the fake. There was never a salute, and never will be.

They also burn through fu-marriages because they are trying to trade up. When the current fu-hubby is no longer useful, he is disposed of, and replaced by a new one. Once a more useful option comes into the picture, fu-hubby number 2 is replaced. These disposable fu-hubbies seem to disappear for good. They either turn white, or delete completely. This is part of their body count. Another form of body count is the bling sugar daddy. He funds the fake, until he realizes that she is not real, and never was. Then he drops off, never to be seen again.

Gem Girl repeated this cycle multiple times, but she had help. Most of that help were also victims, as they had no idea what she was up to. She used them to validate herself. On the other hand, she had multiple accomplices, who should have been banned with her. Her body count was prolific. Before her page was deleted, you could see it in the high value blings, and the wedding rings. She has made multiple attempts to return, and will continue to do so.

Some of these fakes will make their way into family swaps. It may even involve replacing a long time family member. Whatever ill gotten gains may be received, they are not worth the betrayal of that friendship. Keep in mind, some reading this, had a swap with Gem Girl. Others benefitted, but not from her. They benefitted from her destroying other, lesser known members. All the while, she had help from a few willing participants. The best advice is to look into people, before replacing a family member.

Fake profiles are the equivalent of serial killers on Fubar. Only one or two will be caught, but many more are active, and piling up a body count. That body count may never even be noticed. Think about the ones you are closest to. What if they had been part of that body count? What if they left due to embarrassment, or shame? Hopefully a sobering thought. In closing, it falls on all of us to report suspicious profiles. Fubar will look into it, and if necessary, the page will be removed.

Myths of Red

I have been doing a little thinking this weekend, and it occurred to me, that some people have a really misguided view of "the reds". There are a lot of myths concerning the people who are in the weekly top 10, so I decided to write this blog, in the hopes of clearing some things up.I keep hearing how there is so much drama, and competition for the weekly ranking, but I have not experienced it, from "the reds". I have experienced it from the people hoping to be "red", or those who once were, but have not been able to adjust to the new family sizes, and famp rules.

I have been "red" for over a year, and have helped a few others get there. I have also watched other "reds" help others make it, so where is all of this competition? Most of us get along really well, at least on the men's side. There is a certain level of respect that we have for each other. Maybe even an admiration. In the time that I have been ranking, there have probably been over 60 different "reds", so I am trying to figure out exactly what constitutes being one of "the reds". How many weeks do you have to do it? How many weeks do you have to be out, before you are no longer one? If you were red, and take a break, are you still considered "a red" when you return? If you rank, but do not run a red name, are you still "red", or are you green/yellow/blue/pink etc.? If you are trying to get it, and step all over people, but fail, are you technically "a red", or do you get a pass? These are the questions that you need to ask yourself, before painting a group of people, with a large brush. What is "red"?

Some people think that "the reds" gang up, and keep others from being "red". I can say, in all honesty, that this sort of thing NEVER happens. If someone wants to be "red", they just need to do it. Not one person is entitled to a "spot".  I have never felt like a spot is reserved for me. They are open for whoever wants them.

One of the funniest myths out there, is that you cannot get "red" if  you have "reds" in your family.  Please browse my family.  I have so much red, it should have police crime scene tape around it.  It has never been about who is in your family, but who has you in family.  Anyone who has ever taken buy ins, should understand this.  This myth has been going for awhile, and I am sure, it will continue, for years to come.

Another incredible myth is that ranking is all about how much you run.  While it is important to run, you will never get enough rates on your own. There is one person on here, who rarely runs, but is always "red". I have to keep it gender neutral, so that it doesn't look like I am calling anybody out, but this person has it down to an art. I admire him/her on the highest level.  Anyone who can master any area of Fubar, especially ranking or crown, gets a thumbs up from me.

Most "reds" are really nasty people. Another myth! Almost all who I have dealt with, are really nice people. They go at their own pace, and I go at mine. There is no competition going on. It isn't like a race, where you jockey for position. It's more like driving on the interstate. There are 3 lanes for a reason. Some go faster than others, so they are in the far left lane. Others take a little slower pace, so they take the right 2 lanes. You would not expect someone in front of you, who is going 80, to pull off, so you can pass, if you are only going 45, so why is that even a thing on here? If 45k rates is your pace, great! If others are comfortable with 75-100k, great! If you feel the need to pass them, expect to speed up. I have gone faster, and slower, so it's just whatever you are comfortable with.

Now, more of a shout out, than a call out. I have dealt with a ton of "reds" over the last year. I admire these people for various reasons, and it has to do with how they conduct themselves. I appreciate each one for their friendship, advice, help, and drive. Obviously, my fu-wife, and real life girlfriend, sweetz, tops the list. She taught me so much in a short time. DEB and Notyouraveragegirl, are both very special women.

Now to those dreaded "reds" LOL. Ladies first. Candi has been very giving of her time, and is just an awesome lady. NotmyJoey and Infrared have always been accessible, friendly, and helpful. Patti is another amazing lady, who I miss seeing on here. Pierced Poppet/Krissy has been nothing but sweet to me.  Thank a Soldier, MzLinda, and Special K have all been "red", and all 3 are incredibly sweet people.

The next 2 go hand in hand, Niki Marie and Ramone! As part of a real life relationship, with Fubar roots, I have always looked up to them, and wish them the best =)

Now to the men. I am going to start off with one, who intimidated me at first, but has been a good friend from the start. I used to go to his fu-wife for buy ins, because I was a little nervous about approaching him. TMaxx...what up? A couple who couldn't have been more cool to me, but are currently on break, HIM, and Lost J.  Then there is Lucky Ron. He's always polite, and just a good guy, but it's definitely more skill than luck LOL. MTCowboy is another one who I have always admired. He is a true gentleman, in the way he conducts himself, and how he plays the game of Fubar. Blissfully Psychotic is another one who I am glad to have gotten to know. It means a lot to be able to help someone, and watch them take off.  Two of the most Fubar-knowledgeable people on here are MBHarleyman, and his real life wife, DeeDee. If anyone ever has a question, and needs an answer, Randy, and DeeDee, are both super helpful.

Last, but not least, are a few who I have gotten to know, but not as well Thomas, Alpha, and Erotic. All of them have been great family members, who I am sure I will get to know even better over time.

For anyone I may have left out, I would like to say thank you for everything you do.

Also a special thanks to the guy who keeps trying to get me kicked out of families. I can't name him, BUT THANK YOU! BEST OF LUCK BLOCKING EVERY RED EVER =)

Thank you for reading, and I really hope you take the time to get to know each person, rather than casting a wide net of stereotypes onto some really good people.
