On the first day God created the dog and said: Sit all day by the door of your home and bark at anyone who comes in or walk pasts. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years. The dog replied: That's a long time to be barking, how about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten. God agreed. On the second day, God created the monkey and said: Entertain people, do tricks and make them laugh. For this, I will give you a twenty-year life span. The monkey said: Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did? God agreed. On the third day, God created the cow and said: You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years. The cow replied: That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give you back the other forty? God agreed. On the fourth day, God created man and said: Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I 'll give you twenty years. But man said: Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back and the ten the dog gave back, that makes eighty ok? God replied: Ok, you asked for it. So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone. Life has just been explained to you. do the math...a solution...to the economic bailout..Don't bailout AIG with $85,000.000,000 lets take that amount and divide it up to every American assumming there are 200,000,000 adults. Dividing 85 billion would equal to about$400,000 per person 18 and up. That would mean each person pays taxes on that $400,000 to the tune of 30%. That goes back directly to the government,about 25,500,000,000. Its a start, then we the American people will have ready income to put back into the economy. We will be able to purchase new cars...helping the auto industry. We would be able to pay back student loans(again helping the government).open a savings account, send our children to college (which will have an end result of a better America as education is a big key to our success as a viable country). We can invest in the market (capital drives growth). Just a thought.What do you think?

Here is a thought on how to solve the high cost of fuel. Perhaps this is what we should do. Opec sells oil for 136.00 a barrel Opec nations buys U.S. grains at 7.00 a bushel Sell U.S. grains to Opec nations at 136.00 a bushel( any complaints from them tell them fine...go eat your oil)! yah I like that!

Tuesday 4/15/08 As I took my two Akitas out for a hike in the woods this morning, I watched them as they went about their dog duties. It occured to me perhaps we should live our lives as a dog lives theirs.... If you can't hump it or eat it.....walk over to it hike you leg piss on it and walk away. How simple is that!

Today where I live, they have passed a no smoking law here in public buildings,restaurants and bars. Yeah, this isnt' a new concept but here is the thing...there are exemptions and those exemptions are casinos and fair venues. While I have not smoked in a few years how fair is it that there are exemptions? The only reason casinos were exempt was because of the revenue they generate and also because the neighboring state did ban smoking in their casino and have seen a steady decline in clientel. This to me is so unfair to the bars and restaurants that protested the ban. It is saying well if you generate the right dollar amount of revenue you too can be exempt and feel free to blow your smoke to whoever walks by! If you have a no smoking ban in place, make it straight across the board no exceptions. Along this same subject, a year ago we had a significant tax on cigs here to the tune of a $1 per pack. Then the government in their brilliance, state that the revenue that cigs generate here has dropped significantly because people are quiting smoking. Um...no asstards its because they are going across the stateline and buying from other states that do not have the big cig tax. It amazes me the bullshit government tries to force on us...yah ok fine the government is us ...um sure keep believing that cat turd someone will cover you up soon. My question is where does it stop this puesdo democracy? Will they soon be telling us we can't cook cabbage in our homes because the stench will reek throughout the neighborhood thereby assaulting our neighbors delicate noses? Yah, I realize that supposedly 2nd hand smoke is worse then 1st hand smoke...which by the way wouldn't that mean that people who smoke and then inhale their own smoke once again be in double jeporady? wtf??? this insanity has to stop! Freaking amazing what is pushed down our throats day in and day out. OK, thats all for now, feel the need to go to the store and buy me some smokes in the neighboring state and head to casino and sit by some innocent person gambling their lifesavings away while waiting for their state check to come.....byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Thursday...rain...gray...heavy at times ...misty most times. looking out the window watching a tiny river of water slide silently down the pane making tiny tributaries branching out different places. robins all puffed up roosting in the still bare tree branches trying to shake off the cold rain.God, I wish spring would not take so long to get here. Pulls my sweater around me tightly staving off the cold chill. blah...thursday..sips on a cup of tea.
