What are you waiting for?
Didn't ever think it would be so hard to set-up a new non-profit to represent workers who have been injured on the job. Might be that people get sick of fighting a system they can never win against. I know I have been close to giving up on my claims, but figure what the hell why give them the satisfaction of winning. As long as I never give up they can never truly win.
I have heard some horrendous stories. Worse when people have kids and their lives get turned upside down, thankfully that isnt my case. Hard enough when you deal with things on your own without having others to worry about. Seems like people don't want to see the problems people that become disabled from work deal with. I think even if I wasn't injured myself, I would want to see it and not ignore it. With the it's not me attitude. Atleast I hope that I wouldn't be like that.
The more I see of this the more disgusted I get. The systems that are suppose to serve us basically not serving us. I don't know about elsewhere but the Canadian Compensation Boards seem to just want to opperate on bottom line policies. Such as cut the permanently disabled off and continue with record amounts of money in the coffers. If any system needs an overhaul it is this one. But to many have the attitude I will never deal with it so who cares. I hope that is the case in most peoples lives. But if you do unfortunately have to deal with them I feel sorry for you. Welcome to my hell. You won't enjoy the stay.

Recently I started studying Asatru. To those who don't know what asatru is its the reconstruction of the old Pagan Germanic Religious beliefs. Call it a curiosity to discover my roots, and what made my distant ancestors what they were. Besides all that life should be about learning and I am really into learning any aspect of spirituality. So if you have suggestions of different spiritual paths that I may find interesting. please feel free and I encourage you to suggest them to me.
Please bare in mind I titled this ramblings with a purpose. My posts will sometimes not make any sense, or be completely off the wall. My intention is to be completely random. Hopefully this will help redevelop my writing skills, has being far to long since I bothered to write anything. Anyway, rambled on enough for tonight.
