Life Her Breath

Beneath the tree No leaves for shelter A snow is falling And branches bend And up beneath A frozen ground I find myself Hearing dragons sound And there she sleeps Beneath the leaves Upon the ground Her growth of seeds Though wintery silence Keeps me still A raven crys out Upon the mountain shrill And though a chatter Fills my brain I silence then She comes again Rising white A dragons wings Transparent, unfolding Upon this dream Where snow became The white scales And icicles became Her shiny teeth Where breath Became my breath Unfolding and unsheathed See here, says the dragon Theres gold among the sun See here, says the moon Theres love to find as one And there she sat Upon the snow Upon the back of she dragon Away up high and down below She sleeps Life her breath And all of her in me A goddess of the flames The earth and wind and sea! The Wind it Moves Me

The wind it moves me Through the caves The wind it moves me In every way Through the stars and moon Through the sun and rain The wind it moves me Through my breath the same The wind it moves me Through darkness and light Through wind we talk As we are Death and Life The Wind can cut you like a knife The Wind it moves me Silent yet moaning through twilight In Mundane and Otherworlds The Wind it moves me Cast around me she swirls And twirls and twirls In an circular way The Wind it moves me every day The Wind Strong and Calm Through downpours And the last drop of rain The Wind it moves me And always shall remain Through my Body, Mind and Spirit The Wind the Wind it came O She returns with me again! The Wind The Wind it moves me And always shall remain! Lori Foster 5:41 pm waxing

Today

Today Don't stand by my grave and weep For I am not there I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond's glint on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn rain In the soft hush of the morning light I am the swift bird in flight Don't stand by my grave and cry I am not there I did not die
Beneath a Silver Moon the Wind Beneath the silver moon As Wind I danced on crisp white snow I wore her as a jewel on me For everyone I know I swept into the shadows A silent drifting light As I became the song from the horned owl rising into a starry night To wisk into the grey wolf Panting hot and cold white mist against the chilling air Was pleasant and love kissed I came to stalk the one Who silenced me with rain I came to fly with ease A dragon I became Spit-Fire from a flaming sun And Earth Oh how I dwelled Beneath a Silver Moon The magickal muse concealed A spiralling I go Across the ice my breath Beneath a Silver Moon the Wind And Babe hath come to rest To bring the fruit And plant the seed Upon the wind and the moon Into my Breath a Goddess Oh come she may yet soon! For I am the Wind Each Breath I am Beneath the Silver Moon! © 2007 Lori Foster/Rain 7:13 Waxing to Full

The Taste of Wine

The Taste of Wine While traveling deep and weaving through the vine I had a taste of lovely wine The wine it was a scent devine Upon it which to Grow and Climb I climbed the vine And ate the grapes And found the leaves And donned a cape I donned the cape And drank the wine Which tasted bitter At the time Time Time on which to rhyme To rhyme upon a spiraling vine The grapes I ate Till I was full I climbed the Vine Till it was Yule The Sun! O Sun! Began to grow I climbed into the clouds to know The vine I climbed And donned the cape Oh Warmth of Sun Oh Spirit of Grape And I became an amorphous shape To eat the grapes Upon the Vine To laugh and cry Upon the line To see the pine In through the field To see below the dragon shield Tis far, so far, I am above! To drink the wine Of laughter and love To see, to see As mourning dove To soar, to soar A serpent dragon conceiving of Life O Life And Death Below To Rise this Vine To taste and go Go I Go Through spiralling vines To dine a swine And drink white wine And verse a verse A ley a line A Sun O Sun A Moon Devine And so I travel on And drink the Wine! © Lori Foster/Rain Feather 2/13/07 snow/waning moon 6:57 pm
Oh Love Take Me There Come take me there Where wildflowers wrap my hair And wrap your arms around me Lift my body up with yours to share Carry me to where the water falls Where we may hear The Earth Spirits call And Oh what pleasures Of falling rain Through the rays of the Sun To bring our rainbow again Kiss my lips And lay me softly on wet stones Gently I hold your hips Bringing them down to my own And as silk is slippery and soft our skin Takes us closer and deep within And we shall hear the angels song And melt our voices to belong With Earth our Mother Water our Blood We share our breath Of Raven and Dove And Oh our love as lovers shall be Into the fire hot lava flowing free To bring you down and deep in me Hold me close Let us fly to the sky And lift our wings To reach up high Kiss these mountains Ride each path Feel our passion building To enter this quaking wrath Eye of Horus Through the valley and field Breathe me in a magick concealed Wrap these vines around my head Take them around my waist and legs Taste these grapes from every vine And share the blessed natures wine Oh my dear you are but one kind Sweet tasting our lips to combine Scream as I may till we sigh in the wind Arch my back As a bowing branch bends Pull me down softly to create a dance For we shall feel the Goddess And strength of Gods romance Breathe in deeper An assembly of Gods Enter ye shall A thunderous trail And strike within a lightening rod Catch me my darling if I shall fall Bring me closer towards you To hear the wolves call Blood streaks down the mountain cliff The Hawk talons form the horned whiff Shining rays from several clouds Breaking silver lined grey shroud And we shall light into the nest And gather at thy ancients breast Where the reaper came and brought us death Oh still we come in which to rest Yet life O life has brought us Spring! Melting ice the rivers bring And as the Sun warms us again I shall remain your lover Until we meet in the mundane For this I have longed for As wells rise in my eyes Oh love "The Spirit Calls" To bring me my demise Until then I shall lay me down Where the water flows Until then we shall meet again In dreams for now we must go Oh Love Take Me There Where we shall rise rise again! © 2007 Rain Feather 2:14 am

I Am the Goddess

I Am the Goddess Among the many mortal lives mistaken her and him yet ye have mistaken thee For was no harm in place for thee? For among them upon a reflection of me! Who claims thy ways? She who remains in solitude shall not tell She knows... She listens... And grief could not touch love She will not be mistaken! And the northwind came Stirring leaves wildly She surrounds me and rocks me gently I became her and resided in womb for a spell Beneath the mist she sheltered me well And the animals wise of various size And the trees above watching like guarded cranes The totem pole of an ancient time remain As she has touched the flaming one Clearly feeling thy wrath Wreaking from hunters who burned and slain Tho through inspirations and enchantment I rise again...and have touched many I consorted... I contorted of thy cosmic rays Yet you have seen me, close thine eyes meditate breathe, my breath awhile Truly did Goddess bring me here For those who departed against thy will For those who looked ill or insane For those who concealed a flesh mole or freckle Yet I remain and with many who know my names For I am the Goddess written by: Lori Foster
