I have worked for this answering service for a year. Even though I have not been completely happy I know times are bad and at least I had a job. Now they have taken on a new account I do not agree with.
It is for a Ministry and I am receiving the donations, but when I hear customers telling me how Prophet so and so told them its ok to overdraft their bank account because the higher power will take care of their bill it pisses me off. Or how they are calling to upgrade because Prophet so and so said that $250.00 more is needed from them.
Good Points: I have seniority, a paid vacation coming up, a schedule that fits in perfect with my school hours and for being with my children, and if I stick it out for one more year I qualify for a job that pays double of what I earn now.
Bad Points:working graveyard six nights a week(tired), working a two person job by myself, bad pay, always being threatened that my job is in jeopardy, and now this new account.
I wouldn't just quit my job but I would definitely start looking.
