So... I didnt understand why people voted yes to band gay marriage...
When I was at work (in a touristy populated area) some truck drove by saying vote yes on prop8 and honking their horns... Tourists were happy about it and kids were yelling "no homos! no homos!" I was confused because it was the only time i had EVER seen such a sign... I didnt know people were going to vote yes... well i mean not where I live atleast. Sorry, LONG STORY SHORT... Most of the religious people i have met follow rules to a tee and believe that there is only 1 who is allowed to judge, and we should all "love thy neighbor" so doesnt that mean that mean that banning gay marriage is a sin in itself??? This is EXACTLY why I keep my hands behind my back during the national anthem... |
