Thanks so much

I just wanted to check back in and let you all know that my sisters results on her mammogram came back fine. They say she just has "active breasts". Don't ask me, I just know it's a good thing and means no cancer. Much love and thanks to you all for all your prayers and well wishes. I sincerely believe in the power of prayer. Have a wonderful weekend my friends. Jackie

Power of Prayer

Ok ya'll I know how the power of prayer works and how strong it is, so if ya'll would say a prayer for my sister (this is not Serene, my sister that is on fubar) I'd really appreciate it. She had a routine examination last week and they found a lump in her breast. We know it may be nothing or it could be more serious like cancer. She goes for a mammogram tomorrow, but I figured some prayers for her would be awesome and what better way than through all my friends to do this. I know you all are amazing and would gladly say one for her. I'll send ya'll an update as soon as I know anything. Thanks and much luv, Jackie AKA Irish Sweetheart

A friends obituary

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Otho Dale Miller, 18-year-old son of Monte D. and Kay Miller was mercilessly taken from family, friends and loved ones by some of the ugliest predators on earth. It is the evil that is lurking in the black darkness of another human being that lives within our society. Given to us on Nov. 7, 1988, in Twin Falls, Idaho, he shared this date with a highly respected uncle and godfather. Dale grew up on a farm east of Jerome where he learned to love, care and respect life. He attended Jefferson Elementary, where by third grade he was helping teachers with computer problems. Dale moved on to Central Elementary and Jerome Junior High, becoming associated with music through choir, band and learning piano. He supported many friends through sports and became an active member in 4-H for seven years. He was in Hallisey and Life-Teen at his church during his high school years. In 2002, he moved to Twin Falls, attending O'Leary and Twin Falls High School, where he was an honor student. His passion returned to computer, and he was always being called upon to help with computer difficulties. He never hesitated to help and never charged. Dale was recognized by the "Who's Who Among High School Students" for three consecutive years. He received numerous mailings from colleges across the United States and graduated early by testing courses through the Internet, which he accomplished in six short weeks. He chose to continue his education while staying close to home by attending CSI. After falling to pressures of being young in an overly adult world, Dale never lost sight of the love and support he was given by family and friends. He was always giving of himself shortchanging his own wants and needs. Dale is survived by his father, Monte Miller of Jerome; mother, Kay Miller of Twin Falls; one brother; one sister; grandparents, Bill and Peg Lemmons of Buhl, and Paul J. Miller of Brogan, Ore.; one niece; one nephew; a great-grandmother; uncles; aunt; cousin; loved ones and friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in passing by one grandmother, one uncle and one cousin. We have lost a treasured light, but his memory will never be put out. He will shine forever. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Buhl. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the church. Funeral services are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl. If you wish to send donations instead of flowers, please send them to the Buhl Animal Shelter for the adoption of homeless animals in remembrance of Dale.

Prayers for a friend.

Yesterday a good friend of mines son was found murdered here in Twin Falls. Details are still sketchy, but here is the article from todays paper. This 18 year old man use to babysit my step son 4 years ago for my ex and I while we worked. So it's been quite a long morning for me since they announced who's body was found. I'm still trying to reach his mother to give her my condolences. Please say a prayer for his mother and his father as they are wonderful people. Dale was a great kid and was always nothing but fantastic to my son. My son idolized him. Thanks Todays article: http://www.magicvalley.com/articles/2007/09/14/news/top_story/120583.txt
