I was born a sinner before I even knew I was. Yet the Lord shows me mercy and love, gave me life just because..
Because he knows I have a purpose, I have the chance to lend a hand, to spread his joys and sing his praises across his glorious land.
And, though at times he knew I’d stumble and maybe even sometimes fall…And there’d be many times I’d be so low that I may have no will at all,
He’s always there to help me to my feet and gives me strength to believe, gives me the chance to repent my sins and an unconditional reprieve.
Oh my Lord, my strength, my savior who takes me as I am, I will follow in your footsteps and do the best job that I can…
To practice and to teach your word, to strangers, family and friends and to celebrate your glory until the very end.
I will honor and will cherish all the people I hold dear and I will keep them close to God and me each and every year.
I will do my very best to steadfastly live within your word and to share it with all others, to make sure that you are heard.
I will give all glory to you, both in good times and in bad. I will praise your name in happiness and even when I’m sad.
And when I feel the temptations of the devil moving in, I close my eyes and look to the Lord and pray again and again.
Each day we wake is a blessing, and we should treat that day as such. Always to remember to have faith in our Lord and love him just as much.
One day I’ll meet my maker, when my soul is no longer of this Earth. But do not cry for me. Instead rejoice in my rebirth.
