Me again,in one of THOSE moods.Been pondering,why the FUCK does it seem like all newer power metal bands cloned the same dude on vocals?Where are the Bruce Dickinsons,the Hansi Kursches,the Michael Kiskes nowadays?I love the genre..but sheesh!We need individuals.I'm probably as guilty as the rest,being my clean vocals sound at times,a LOT like certain other,better vocalists..but I've ALWAYS tried to maintain a sembalance of my own identity,even when doing covers.It just bugs me a little,when I can hear 4 bands,and not be able ta distinguish between them.(And no,I'm not just picking on power metal;Lord knows,black metal,death metal,grindcore,etc are JUST as guilty..only in those cases,being the vocals are gutterals,I suppose it's harder ta sound unique.Clean vocals should have more of an identity to them,I guess.)Anyways,this is just my opinion,I am NOT God.(Just His left hand,lmao.)
