Looking at you, my heart on my sleve,
My heart pounds with need
To feel your touch, to see your smile.
Inside, I slowly die.
You have others on your mind.
They are what you crave.
It is written on your face.
No matter what, your eyes don't lie.
I try to capture your attention,
Yet again, you pull away,
Pushing me further
As you settle deeper within.
Caught in a world all your own,
Without me is how you want it.
Your words tell me one thing.
Your heart yet another.
No matter what, your eyes don't lie.
I know the truth; I'll face it yet.
You will leave, and I will see.
No matter what, your eyes don't lie.

I guess that four years later nothing has changed. Living a lie all this time, you say that you care but you do not love me. I will take you any way that I can have you. I cannot explain why I have held onto you for so long and loved you as much as I do, except that maybe we have to go through the storm to get to the good stuff. Caring is enough for me with the hope and faith that one day that care will again turn to love. You are my heart and I love you with all that I am. You are an ass but you are my ass and my inspiration. I just pray that you may be willing to give it one more try.
You caught my eye
You stole my heart
I overlooked your flaws
For as you were was what I liked
You changed and I loved you still.
You were all the man I could ever want
All the man I would ever need
You were you and now you're not
Just a shadow of a human
Fake and drama king
There was a time
Your head held High
You were a man of integrity
then life happened
you lost your way
One day you can be a man
of truth again,
but you have to want to be
the man you can be potientially
You just have to want to change.
