THERE ARE A FEW I THOUGHT OF WHEN I FOUND THIS. Although you are a friend of mine and letters we exchange, I wouldn't know you on the street, and doesn't that seem strange? You hold a place within my life, unusual and unique, We share ideals and special dreams, and still, we do not speak. I picture what I think you are, perhaps you picture me. An intriguing game for both of us for someone we can't see. So for this friendship we possess, we owe this mail a debt, Perhaps the charm lies in the fact that we have never met.

Life is very precious indeed, Given freely to one and all. However some people don’t see it, They keep running into a brick wall. Our time here on earth is given, To all of us for a short season. What we all do with it, Depends on our abilities and reason. We can make it a blessing, Or a pitfall for others to see. But some people have the attitude, Whatever will be—will be. How much better it would be, If we all did our important part, To make everyone very happy, And for once be very smart. So it’s all up to you my friend, To be happy or full of strife. But for myself dear ones, I have decided to enjoy “LIFE”.

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a god send and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON,because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.! LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relation! ships an d areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant . Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

A gift was given to me, Across the distant miles; A package wrapped in laughter, And filled with joy and smiles. I pulled away the ribbons, And took the greatest care; When I reached into the gift, I found friendship waiting there. A friendship like no other, A connection from the start; Not one I could see, touch or feel, Except here in my heart. That gift so rare and precious, Of friendship tried and true; Touched my heart and blessed my life, And is what I found in you!!

There could be fog Or maybe just a mist And inexplicably I'll fade to white Vanish, and be gone Or it could be night And I'll be darkly dressed, Evading easy definition And as your eye's distracted By a falling leaf I'll merge with restless shadows And be gone Then you will discover What emptiness is A space so hollow Even its own walls are swallowed up A quality of missing So intense A lack, a lack Each hour more bottomless than the last Until your heart cries out, A howl of forfeiture But it will be nothing Ashen silence where I used to sing And deafness The howl must strike the right resonant frequency A wail that echoes all to the ends of time To fill the gaping void in whole, looping wave lengths From the well of your soul, such loneliness To make Siberian wolves hang heads for shame In their convivial packs Then, only then Might you detect my footprints, indistinct Marking the morning dew fall Perhaps glimpse a puff of breath in the cold, dawn air You must utter A howl so desolate, it Jerks you from your sleep To find me warm beside you on your pillow And you will know how Close you were to the brink Of the abyss And know what missing is And hold me.

To lay a kiss on your lips, so gentle and delicate is like picking the drops of dew off the petals of a rose. I hold you close and feel safe, sheltered in from the rain, from the storms that grow and surround me. I take your hand and look into your eyes and see a heart made of gold and soul so pure. You see you are an angel, an angel to me. I could not help but fall madly in love with you, the one who stole my heart. I’m glad you did because I could never find one such as you... Some one who makes each day the best, each laugh the longest, each tear the saddest, and a life, my life, worthwhile. I’ve never known a love like yours Nor thought it could be true, But every time I kiss your lips I feel what love can do With hair like silk And lips so tender, Each moment with you Makes my heart surrender I couldn’t live, I couldn’t breathe Without you by my side, Never will I let you go, My love will never hide And in my heart you’ll always be From now until forever, No matter what, no matter where We’ll always be together

So cold and dark, so empty and alone, Never knowing what real love was. So fragile and closed, so hateful and cruel, never to open my heart to anyone, and then there was you. So scared, so new, not knowing what was to come, I gave you what little I had left. Hoping that you would want me the way that I am. Timid and frightened, wanting to love again, and then there was you. A little relief from the beating that my heart took, trying to remember what it was like. You showed me that it was real and true, you touch so gentle, you saw right through. All the pain and distrust disappeared that day, the love that consumed me felt so perfect and so right. Still hesitant to let anyone see who I really was, and then there was you. Believing in me, trusting me, loving me unconditionally, letting go of all the fear, anger, and regret. Knowing that it is ok just to be who I am. Crying, laughing, talking, sharing emotions that I tried to hide for so long, All because there was you.

I want to hold you in my hand when i'm feelin low To me, ur a real good friend...even when ur cold You're always there when i'm alone and never to far away You chill me straight to the bone and always ease the day Most of the time ur empty...but still my friend When i kill u cuz u tempt me, i'll grab ur next of kin I'll pop his top or twist off his head You're the 1st thing I think of when I hop outta bed When I'm feelin crazy...and a little to bold And piss everybody off...ur always there to hold I admire ur figure...especially when u sweat Makes me wanna put a hole in ur head or twist it off at the neck I know I abuse you and will till the end But I know u will always be there cuz ur a true friend You may cost me money and a trip across town I need u most when my face wears a frown Thank you friend ..for getting me higher My truest of friends....OL' BUDWEISER
