Poison to your Soul... She's the poison you will drink seducing you, with but a wink you weren't able to prepare She has caught you unaware. Though sweet as she must taste your heart ultimately, she'll waste. As this day turns to night you know now I am right She whispers softly in your ear desire for her you wont fear you invite her further inside your heart like arms, open wide playfully innocent at its start weaving a web around your heart hours pass they become days you are blind to her ways honest as she can be with you the woman before you seen anew as the illusion shatters there is nothing that matters you can't stop the flow wishing now you didnt know what she couldn't give to you was a whole heart beating true bitterness comes to take a hold your heart slowly becomes cold unwanted and crushed you now grieve illusions of hate you begin to weave paint her in an unkind light it is how you will fight those feelings of despair this life can be so unfair sadly you desire her still for some time yet you will may rest find you my friend this pain one day shall end and in its place someone new who can love you strong and true A. A single tear.. today a single tear I shed for a man whos path was tread an unfair circumstance had cost his loving wife to him is lost so real his pain must still be this tear i shed i shed for thee i pray for joy to shine bright and fill his world with its light i see a soul that stands strong and though his journey's been long he continues to live his life in memory of his beloved wife. I am Me...

I can be gentle,

and I can be kind

those arent thoughts

that now come to mind

I am selfish

and I can be rude

some may not like

my blunt attitude

I am unique

owning many a flaw

and I am more

than I hold in my bra

though in defense

they are quite a treat

I cannot fault

those finding them neat

I have many things

some old and some new

not everything tho

will i share with you

I am myself

I need approval not

I sit here alone

with nary a thought

I am a woman

that is not my defense

it's simply my reason
