One Late Autumn Night

At first I saw you peeking through the clouds that slowly drifted by; Like a small child, peeking through mini blinds, trying to see who is coming, only ending with a sigh. When I see you next, it looked as if you were coming out of a shell; Peeping over the top, just enough to see, unsure of a future, the one thing, only time will tell. As I watched you rise into the sky, you rose above those clouds passing by. Now your in the open, your brightness shines through, you're well rounded beauty, with the dark sky behind you. In My Heart So Deep

Some day soon our eyes should meet; Will I know, in my heart so deep? With eyes that'll see clear into my soul; My legs are wobbly, like a newborn foal. With arms, that'll make me feel safe; Not a fear one, while I'm in your embrace. With ears that will listen, without half a mind; Your open and honest, your one of a kind. With lips that'll whisper the words deep and true; Soft kisses, and nibbles, my blood begins to brew. With hands so gentle, yet strong and warm; Take control, and protect from harm. With a mind ever growing, can't get enough; Insights be known, life can be rough. I have dreamed of you, again and again; You swept me off my feet, right where I stand. Some day soon, we should meet; I do know now in my heart so deep. Lori Flenniken
