A friends of mine were having some problems with life so I wrote this real quick while thinking of them... Now I know that life can sometimes get too rough, but you gotta keep goin' when the goin' gets tough. Whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, just that lil' faith may help you live longer. You gotta live each day as if it is your last, and don't finish each day without havin' a blast. This life is too short to get caught up in the hype, there are other colors too, it's not always black and white. So I guess what I'm saying is you gotta stay true, 'cause if you're true to yourself then you'll know what to do. Don't live life to impress someone else, if that person needs impressing than they can go to hell. This is your life and that fact will never change, any tiny thing can end it, but somethin' will remain. Something that you and only you left behind, whether it's a legacy, a name, or just some good times. You gotta do what it takes to put a smile on your face, and remember not to break and to always know your place. Just like before so what if it get's tough, you gotta keep goin, and keep ya headz up. We should stop... And just take a look around... You should not... Always keep your eyez set on the ground... You should stop... Quittin' when the goin' gets tough We should not... Forget to, keep them headz up...keep them headz up... In the last verse I was makin' sure I'm heard, I'm tired of people mopin' just 'cause they feel hurt. You gotta pick yourself up and try once again, maybe this time around you'll finally get to win. Who knows? Maybe this one is your turn, maybe you'll finally learn, how not to get burned. Can't no one else live your life for you, so stop cuttin' corners and stop feelin' blue. Being sad never helps anything you have, as well as gettin' mad when somethin' good goes bad. I'm not tryin' to preach I'm just tryin' to help, but's never gonna work if doubt is all you've felt. Remember the fact that someone always has it worse, it may be hard to believe, but at least you're not in a hurse. Yeah you're friend died, then remember their life, make them live on for the rest of time. As long as you hold on no one ever leaves, that's just how it seems 'cause they're no longer seen. Now sleep good tonight so tomorrow you can get up, do yourself a favor, and keep ya headz up. We should stop... And just take a look around... You should not... Yes my friends I know that it hurts, but keep your dreams alive and don't let 'em burst. If there's somethin' you wanna do than I say do it, because later on down the line, you're gonna reminisce on how you blew it. You know this is true so why not pursue, and do all the things that you've been longing to do. What happened now, you got broken up with? It's just like they say, the sea has plenty more fish. Don't let someone that hurt you control your whole life, this your time, so why don't you shine? Make an impact with each and every one of your friends, let 'em know that you'll be there, even after it ends. Life is full of choices even if they aint right, but if the decision's hard then here's some advice... There's never gonna be a break... Life is a camera so remember the pictures we take... Don't be forced into what you don't wanna do... Just live your life for you, and always stay true... We should stop... And just take a look around... You should not...
