3 lives gone

Do these young people realize the impact of what they do and cause?! I sat yesterday (saturday morning july 3rd ) listening to the preacher speak about Jaytaun and his passing, thinking how devestating this is to his family and friends and his 2 babies 1 of which will never even have gotten to spend any real time or memories making with him, 19 years old hardly began to live and taken within minutes by 2 other young individuals. Jaytaun was more then just a friend he stayed with us at our house with his brother he was like a son to me aand a brother to my children seeing him in that casket was surreal and watching the video footage they played of his pics growing up from birth to when he died was heartbreaking. Would these 2 boys have shot him if they seen and known him like we did or witnessed him celebrate the birth of his children at the hospital. Now 3 lives r ruined along with the hearbreak of all thier families its ashame life has to be learned through such serious actions some cause and all over a few dollars really not worth being shot in the head and chest over!

we will miss you R.I.P.

Posted On: Thursday, Jun. 24 2010 05:14 PM
A 19-year-old man was shot and killed at the Putt-Putt Fun Center in Killeen Wednesday night.

The victim and a woman were in a vehicle in the parking lot when men approached and an argument ensued, witnesses told Killeen police. The victim was shot and the woman sustained minor injuries.

Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke pronounced the man dead at 11:15 p.m. and ordered an autopsy be performed in Dallas.

Putt-Putt General Manager Todd Fox said five employees were closing the center when the shooting occurred, but none witnessed it. Fox expressed his condolences for the victim's family.

now thats STEELER pride

Steelers Nation is gripped by playoff fever and it seems the man in charge of Pittsburgh has been severely afflicted. Mayor Luke Ravenstahl has asked to be known as Luke Steelerstahl — at least for this week. "On behalf of the Steelers Nation, I've decided to remove the word 'Ravens' from my name just like the Steelers will remove them from the AFC Championship," he told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, in regards to the upcoming playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens. Ravenstahl began the process of a legal name change, but his paperwork has not gone through because it wasn't complete. The civil court in Pittsburgh also said it didn't receive the required $108 check to process the request, the Post-Gazette said. The Pittsburgh mayor said the idea for the change came from callers on a local radio station. "As soon as I heard it, I thought it was a great idea," Ravenstahl said. As for the rest of his family, he says he hasn't talked to his wife about changing her last name or the last name of their two-month-old son, but said he doesn't think they would mind doing it either.
