Hey all i need some ideas, i have been wanting to mod my PC for a while now, but can not deside what to do. Here are some examples of a modded pc, i do not want to repeat anything i know has been done. So throw out any ideas, think of your PC tower as something youd want to look at. Notice this one looks like a Chopper. This one looks like a old vietnam era military radio. You can see what this one is ... a bug mod lol... anyways any idea will help, and any idea would be cool. i have seen cases made liek the Alien Face, and one of the hulk ripping things out. SO please help me out give me some idea, provide a image if you can. And if i win in any contest i might enter, ill be sure to mention who inspired it by name :)

Ok i have noticed way to many poeple refering to animated images on this site as animated video clips.. when infact they are totally wrong. The clips most people call video clips on here, or that they post within their folders of pics are actually refered to as. Animated Gif's. A gif is a small image made specifically for the internet, and used in cases where many images are presented on one page. JPG images can also be used, but they are usually larger in size and have many more colors then a GIF. a Gif is one form of many image file types, one of the most common. However the images people call videos are not videos. they are animated gifs, and the tag on the image if you happen to download it will end in .gif. The way a animated gif works is simple. you create a slideshow of sorts. one image at a time. You can capture images from a original video sorce to do this, which is much easier in the long run cause you can take the images you need to make the image appear as if it is a video. gifs can have many frames to them, and some do, but most remain with around 100 frames of less. If you do the gif right, you can make it appear as a video would appear, however if you look at the amount of time to play it its normally under 5 secs. and the human eye only sees around 19 frames a second of any video you watch. many videos are done at 26.67 and up to about 32 frames a second. which just enhances the quality since your eye does not see all the frames. So for those claiming they have videos in their folders here on fubar, unless its in their stash and stored on youtube or some other video site. their video is actually an... ANIMATED GIF nothing more. Just a animated Image...

Ok for the first review i will cover 3 items i use all the time. 1. My Mouse this does not sound to cool, but the one i use i love. 2. The mouse pad, sounds unimportant till you try it for yourself. and finally. 3. The greatest addition i have ever made to my gaming machine, and it has earned me hatred in games for the speed at which i can react and attack others. It is not a cheat, but simplifies my keyboard ... ill cover it last. The Mouse..... Mx1000 Gaming mouse by logitec Rating 9/10 I love this mouse and it works great, i can use it daily for hours of gaming, and even after being over a year old i only have to charge it maybe once every 3 days. It reacts well and fits my hand well. It does have programable buttons, but the software that comes with it has one caviot. If you have a unassigned button and you bump it, the dang thing pulls up the window for the mouse, and thus blocks your game. Which is annoying, so i do not mess with programing any mouse buttons with it, i just use it as a standard mouse, as i have no need for any additional buttons on my mouse thanks to my gaming speed pad. I had to give this a 9 do to the caviot of the program it has for programing and also for its weight it seems kinda heavy and there are some gaming mouses now that allow you to adjust the weight to your personal feel. Those i will cover later. The Mouse pad, more important then you know. X-Trac Mouse Pad rating 8/10 It costs slightly more then a normal pad, but trust me it is worth the extra pennies to purchase. Its smooth and sleek feeling under your mouse and actually helps your mouse to move faster then it would on a normal pad. It is also about 2 times larger then a normal pad, and in fast paced PVP it can come in handy not hitting the edge of your mouse pad by accident with a laser mouse and seeing your site jump across the screen. This rating is because its thin, and does wear down i have had mine for 2 years now and its begining to show wear, also not many choices on cooler colors yet. The best toy ever... Nostromo N52 Speed pad. Rated 9/10 This is the coolest toy ever, it has a marco function which i have played with, but i hate cheaters so bad i wont use it in a game. However the best feature is you can program every button on it to be any button you have on your keyboard, so the layout is exactly as you want. This specific model has 4 shift phases. No lights, and then red, green, and blue. Each shift phase is a clear set of buttons, so if you have a FPS game that requires diffrent key setups for diffrent chars instead of having to reload each keyset, you can set them to individual colors to make the switch seemless and fast. I gave it a 9 only because the palm pad is not adjustable on this model, which can come in handy for those with larger hands then me. With the combination of things above, i was playing a flying game for a while. And in PVP i was flying the hardest one of them all, as it was a tank and had to be on the ground to do its main damage. Well i got so good thanks to the speed pad, i was able to get on the ground and blow planes outa the sky so fast, that i was hated. I could fly into a map that had 40 vs 40 on the screen and after 1 or 2 kills i would become the number one target of all the best pilots. I would have no less then 6 people targeting me, and up to 15 would aim for me everytime i recovered from a death. I have to say i am a ok gamer, but the speedpad was my jewel for becoming so hated in battle. That thing is the best inverstment i have ever purchased and if your a gamer, i recomened it as it works great with games like daoc, and other hack and slash games i have played. It takes time to get use to it but once you do, your friends ingame will wonder why your fighting so well, and typing in chat so little lol. Make them get on voice chat and they wont wonder ever again. Hope you enjoyed this hands on review, and i only rate things i get my hands on, so if i review something and it has no rating then i have not touched it personally and am basing my review off others input from other locations or articales.
