My pawpaw was a great man and lived a long life. He was married to only one woman until she passed away about 20 years earlier. He was a hard workin, christian man commited to his family and would agrivate the fire out of you just to show you he loved you. He moonshined during the depression just so he could support his family. That's where the jug of moonshine I use as my profile picture sometimes and my user name came from. I was really close with my pawpaw when I was young, I spent more time at my granparents house than I did at home. After the depression, he traveled the country doin construction work for the Government then became a truck driver/farmer until he retired. He has suffered with old age and the health issues that go along with it for the last ten years or so. He came home from the nursin home about a month ago to die at home. He had a stroke Saturday and was taken to the hospital but refused treatment because he'd rather go than to be worked on in order to stay and suffer anymore. He passed away on 12/15/2014 at 93 years old. I miss him but I'm glad he isn't sufferin anymore. Please say your prayers for the angels in heaven, they've got their hands full now :)
