Nana our life isn't the same since you left

crying is now what we do best

Nana you went too fast

remember the good times that are now in the past

We will love you forever and till the very end

Nana you were so good to us

I wish you could be next to us

Nana you had so much to give

but then you had only so many hours to live

Nana holding your hand while you slipped away

you’re in my heart and forever you will stay

Nana you brought so much joy to our lives

you never gave us any strife

Nana our smile is gone

now heaven is your home

Nana you always had a smile on your face

no matter what was going on

Nana we miss you so much

we miss your kind and gentle touch

Nana we miss laughing with you

wish that you were here is all we do

Nana our tears we wipe away

but the love for you will stay in our hearts

Nana you gave us all we could ever want

but your love was all that we needed

Nana our kids will never forget you

they loved you just as much as we did

Nana you hung on with all you might

but you couldn't win the fight

Nana we're so lost and sad

God took you away from us way too soon

Nana we will never find anyone like you

or find anyone who would do the things you do

Nana you suffered too much for too long

'wind beneath my wings' is your song now

Nana when you were lying in the hospital bed slipping away

I wished I could have switched places with you

Nana you are in my heart and my thoughts everyday

"I love you" is all I can say!

Nana I miss you more everyday

I love you forever and in my heart you will stay!

Even though I’ll be far away,

I’ll send you kisses every day.

What I’m trying to say,

Nana, I’m really not very far away.

I will be counting the minutes until we meet again.

I write this for you, Papa, as the tears roll down my face,

heaven has received another angel
The night sky another star
Your life has become a loving memory
I know you will never be far.

As our life goes on
We will treasure the memories we have of you
We cant believe you're gone.

You were a man of unbendable steel,
but when it came to your grandkids we were your Achilles heel.
Death may have taken your body but it did not take you
The love that we share even death can’t get through.
You were always there for us.

We miss you so much Papa more than words can tell,
My children will remember you and always will be told,
Of their special Papa who suddenly grew old.
A man so full of knowledge and also full of pride.

The time we can’t spend together is nothing more then a test.
That day will come when I will come to see you
and my grandson will be doing this too.
I must make my mark in this world as you did yours,
You just relax up there until I finished my life chores,
You will always hold a place in every heart you touched
A loving treasured spot.
You were really one in a million
A cut above the rest
All that knew you would agree
You simply were the best.
I love and miss you with all my heart
But as long as I have my loving memories
We will never be too far apart.
