OMG!!! I just got back from grocery shopping. Mind you, I only shop every other week for groceries. I spent nearly $50 more that I intended because of the price hikes. I couldnt imagine having to be on a fixed income and having to pay for groceries and gas and utilities. As it is... I came home and told kids that we were going to start eating slim and hardly any extras. This is ridiculous. How does the govenment expect the normal paycheck to paycheck families to live? More are going on food stamps every day in my town... which means, not only am I paying for my family's groceries but for someone elses too.
