Well here I go to rant and rave yet again. I know it has been awhile but I am really tired of and angry about the whole NSFW system on this site. I thought this was supposed to be a site for adults and now even MySpace is a better place to hang out then here. When I first joined in 2006 this site was the place to be. There were no kids and people could have nude pictures of themselves and everything was cool, but now the NSFW marking has become ridiculous. I can have more adult content on MySpace then I can on here. Where does that make sense?
You now have to watch everything you do and say on here and worry whether or not someone is going to get offended about something you say, some image you put up, or some song you have. What happened to Freedom of Speech? Do the people in charge not care that men and women from many families: including mine, have died for this right that they are trying to take away from us. If you cannot handle adult subjects and cannot handle subjects that may be objectionable or distasteful to others then do something for the Disney Channel. You should not have an Internet site that is meant for adults.
I was kicked off of MySpace once for expressing my views on the President and the Dixie Chicks episode. This kind of reaction is truly ridiculous. So, if someone does not agree with me or is offended by me or what I have to say then I can have my account deleted or my privileges taken away from me. So much for the greatest country in the world and so much for freedom!!! Personally, the way this website is run reminds me of the stories in the news that I have read of the way things are in China, North Korea, and other countries that do not have a free society, media, etc.
My girl had her commenting privileges taken away because some guy said she was making NSFW comments. Well I like receiving NSFW comments and my girl should be able to leave them on my photos and my profile without some retard coming to my page and saying it is wrong. I am really fu-tired and very fu-angry and once I get to a Godfather; the only level a part Italian man like myself even cares about, then I am leaving fubar and going back to MySpace, because at least then I can put up "Weed Song" by Bone Thugs without the Moral Monitors flagging it NSFW!!!!
Oh and if anyone takes offense to anything I ever say...then good. We should never have to not say what we believe just because it may offend someone. Many views are going to be offensive to someone, but that does not mean that they should not be expressed. I believe abortion is wrong and a person talking about abortion as if it is a wonderful thing is offensive to me, but I would die to protect their right to their opinion.
