Night into Day
The roads are quiet
As the night descends
Walking along the street
As each light passes overhead
The darkness reclaims the day
As its own, a world different
From day.
The memories, the dreams
Are always vivid like stars
In the night.
Listen , Look, Wondering
Where have the sounds gone
Deserted like the grains of sand
Gathering at the edge of town.
Walking , running, where will it lead
Hours and minutes pass by
Thoughts and Ideas constant in my head.
Leading me one way then another
Like a maze in life as it is in dreams.
The first rays of light appear
The sun our savior from the darkness
Another day begins
