The trees are gently swaying,
Leaves whispering of Home –
The place where you can linger
And never want to roam.
The Balefire in the centre
With sparking crackling flame
Also sends the message
That now nothing is the same.
A horn-crowned figure beckons you
To willingly draw near
He holds the Cup of Wisdom;
He holds an end to fear.
Beside Him stands a Lady
Crowned with ivy on Her brow
She offers peace and happiness
To all who take Her Vow.
It doesn’t take much Magick,
Not a pinch of Faery Dust
Just believe that what is offered
Is done with Perfect Trust.
If you dwell within this Grove
There is so much to gain.
But nothing that’s worth having
Is garnered without pain.
Take the risk and drain the Cup
To dregs all bittersweet,
Refreshed, renewed return to life,
