smile is worth a thousand words A piece of happy bliss No matter how bleak the day may seem It can be as warm as the sweetest kiss Life is not perfect With many twists and turns Some for the better And some from which we learn So in our saddest hours Take a moment to stop and think Of all life has to offer Of all the blessings in which you recieve For at the end of every cloud Yes there is a silver lining With a little bit of hope and love You can get through the worst, and look to the good A smile can chase the blues A thought can turn the tides But hope and love are some wonderous gifts To keep our souls alive

Oh lovely child, what do you see... What makes you cry, to be set free! Oh lovely child, why do you not play... Wasting youth, to daydream all day! Oh lovely child, such sweet inner beauty... The essence of innocence, within your grasp! Oh lovely child, why for all the sadness... Like a wilted rose, faultering in the wind! Oh lovely child, why do you not dance and play... With the other children, this summers day! ---------------------- The scent of spring filled me As I woke from my sleep Smiling from my pillow At the sun that is shining in Birds flying high Singing lovely songs A wonderfull spring day A warm wind finally blows Oh what I wouldn't give To be part of the winds That flow within the clouds And through the blooming flowers Oh what I wouldn't give To fly as high as those birds To spread my wings and soar upon An old trees birch Oh what I wouldn't give To just be inside spring itself The season that brings joy and birth The season of life itself... -------------------- She lifts her head up to the sky A single tear caressing her cheek The burning inside of her grows with each moment Her soul writhing within wanting to be set free Her thoughts race as the tears keep falling Provoking her fears, she hears them calling Their voices carried with the winds swift movement Calling out to her, her knees weaken, lost in the moment The tears wont stop, they fall free Her eyes full of pain begging you please For this moment in time She shall finally break free ---------------------------- Like a wilted rose, her wings do fall The tears in her eyes, like flakes of snow Confusion in her mind, seems to take control Her hands do tremble, longing to be held Why does she cry, makes you stop to wonder This angel of mine, what has been done to her The petals start to fall, like raindrops from the sky The spark of life, slowly seems to die A child cries out, in the middle of the night A mothers sweet song, soothing lullaby Wings of an angel, she wipes her tears away As she takes off in flight, regardless of her dismay The leaves dance with glee, as she returns to her home Among the trees and animals, is where her soul belongs The winds sweet whisper, comforts her wounded soul As nature embraces her, her soul no longer cold She rests her crimson curls, upon the leafy ground For this is where she is safe, her hope has been found

The candles flicker, in the cool summer breeze The pain inside, is more then real Eyes of pain, she cannot see The world has crumbled, to its knees Darkness falls, as the moon raises high The pale light cascading through the sky Each star flickers with their own brilliant light Cold and alone, she embraces the night Has the world gone mad? She often wonders... Time at a standstill Holding on to hope For now she shall rest Waiting for a sign... Watching the stars This moment in time.

The Moons pale light creeps upon the shores A rhymatic dance the light does parade The thunder grows louder as the rains soak in Brilliant flashes of light build as does her anger within On her knees she has fallen, her hope ripped away Her once warm gaze now sullen and grey The wounds of her past cut deep into her soul As the cold night takes her within its hold Her cries shrill with torment and pain Until the winds cold breath, took her last breath away

Time cannot tell what the future holds Or what we will leave behind... For all the days to wander aimlessly Each path seems dark as night... The candles flicker, as the breeze moves in Lifting your very soul... The cool winds carry a sullen tune As it wraps you in its hold... The sky seems to come alive and dance for me As the rain pours endless from above... The leaves whispers lulling me to sleep As I fall deep into the nights comforting hold...

Whispering to you...can you hear it? Songs long forgotten...words in passing... Sweet melodies....carried with the wind.... To lift your soul....to calm the spirit within.... Ocean waves dancing....can you see it? The roar of the waves....caressing your feet... The warm summer sun...can you feel it? Embracing you in whole...cradling you.... Lightning cascades...against the darkened sky.... The roar of thunder....as the ground trembles beneath.... Can you see it? Can you feel it? Can you hear it echo in your mind? Once again....the song within the wind.... Whispers in your mind...feel it within.... Hear the words...feel the music.... Close your eyes...as it carries you away... To reach the sky...close your eyes.... All you need is a dream...let it take you there....

the trees whisper...a song so sweet laughter echos...through the windy streets children play...a song and dance the sweetest sound...around the lands a baby stirs....a mother sleeps an old life ends....a family weeps a tiny flower....about to bloom its petals shimmer....against the glow of the moon a warm embrace.....a friendly gesture a curious smile....and bellowing laughter an angels song....from the skies above only heard in our hearts....for us to discover so much wonder....so much joy to amaze yourself with the simpliest beauty...if you open your eyes or pass it by....without a glance miss out on the greatest gift....given to man we can choose to live...and open our eyes... or we can just choose to exist....and let life pass us by

Sound of fury drowned within the thunder The lightning strikes, magnifacant wonders The rain pours down, like shimmering tear drops Surrounded by the sounds of natures song The leaves begin to dance As the breeze swiftly moves through Carrying the whispers Of natures small miracles The moon rises high Against the midnight sky A beautiful sight To amaze the mind

The leaves rustle in the wind My soul is aching from within My thoughts are racing Insanity has taken control Time ticks on with each passing hour What have I accomplished, or does it not matter The world keeps spinning yet nothing seems to change I feel alone in a sea of people, stuck in dismay When will the stars shine brighter for me How will I know what I am to be Which path should I choose now Or do I follow my heart this time around
