How can I reach her heart,
When she keeps it so well hid.
Nothing seems to get me close,
Not anything I did.
Still I keep trying,
Reaching for her golden ring.
If she would only open up,
To her happiness is all I bring.
Till I'm your first thought of the day,
And the last you have at night.
I will keep banging these walls,
Never giving up this fight.
Hearts come in many ways,
Some tattered beaten and torn.
Especially when on your sleeve,
You choose for yours to be worn.
To guard one heart,protected,
It never seeing the light of a new day.
Constanly keeping it sheltered,
This truely cannot be the way.
My heart has seen regrets,
Itself many blames on it lie.
There is one thing it cant though,
And thats ever tell you goodbye.
You are forever its beat,
Its life without you does not exsist.
It longs to be with you forever,
That is its only wish.
My desires have overcome me,
My will now belongs to her.
She is all things bautiful in the world,
Of this my mind is sure.
Though she says shes no Goddess,
I can see nothing else.
She is my light from the sun,
I hold this true to myself.
Anything I have I would give her,
Even my will to breathe.
All I ask in return is,
That from my eyes you never leave
I offer you my hand,
To take and hold in yours.
To give you strenght and comfort,
Unlike you've had before.
I offer you my arms,
To hold you close when unsure.
To give you tenderness and warmth,
So that again your heart will endure.
I offer you my smile,
To help yours shine each day.
To give you happiness and joy,
So you can share with others all along your way.
I offer you my eyes,
So you can look deep into my soul.
To give you sight well within me,
So my true feelings you would know.
I offer you my heart,
So once again your may feel.
To show you I do care,
So once again your heart will heal.
All these I offer you,
To have yours,an honor it would be.
To have your hand, arms, smile, eyes and heart,
God himself would have truely blessed me.
She can never understand,
How deep in my heart she has gone.
Or when I say I want you,
She says my words are wrong.
To tell her and show her,
Is really all I can do.
Maybe someday,sometime,
She'll know my heart is true.
Even though she is far from me,
My heart forever holds her dear.
And it waits for the day,
Her heart no longer holds its fear.
So deep in her thoughts,
Is where I long to be.
Buried into her heart,
Will this she ever see.
In days of old,
This would be my lifelong quest.
To search only for her,
Forsaking all the rest.
I wish my God would smile on me,
And make this beautys heart mine.
Then I would have the greastest treasure,
And cherish it for all time.
