This will be the Sixth Christmas I will spend without my mother. I miss her so much everyday, but even moreso this time of year. I still miss her just as much today as i did the day she passed.
In Memory Of Wanda Sue Adams
My mother was a precious gift to me,
I love and miss her so much,
A wonderful mother of three.
Certain thoughts enter my mind,
Now that she's gone and I'm left behind.
So many times I didn't say "Thank You" or "I love you,"
Somehow I guess I thought she already knew.
I learned about patience and love from her,
Cherish the moments-she taught me that too.
But now she's gone forever,
And I'm left with painful tears,
Along with all the memories of those happy, joyful years.
She was the greatest mother I know,
In my eyes, she was the best,
I know that prayers are answered,
Cause I was truly blessed.
And tho everyday I miss her,
And long to see her face,
I will thank the Good Lord for his loving grace.
For God alone could see,
The share of pain she'd borne,
Her body was so weak and broken,
Her spirit was tired and worn.
He reached out his arms in love,
And called her to his home above.
Yes, God gave me a wonderful mother,
To borrow a little while,
Someday again I will see my mother's beautiful smile .
Merry Christmas Mom.
