So Cora is so funny I have to take time out of my schedule to document her jokes. She is truly wise beyond her years and it really shows in her humor so I'm going to start sharing with you some of her quips as they happen so as not to keep losing her sometimes perfect gems.
I gave her a hard time today because grandpa said she wouldn't share her full size Twix with him. (A reward for the zero cavity club.)
Without pausing she said, "I give cuddles; Twix infused cuddles.."
Today; Christmas; daddy wore khakis to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Have a couple pair but don't usually bother. Cora said; of daddy's unusual Christmas attire; as if to accentuate our white trash roots; "Sorry Daddy, I'm just not used to seeing you in Blonde jeans."
Earlier while laying in bed with the oldest before presents; Mommy asked Lily what Cora was doing. From her bed and without missing a beat; Cora's monotone sleepy 10 year old voice says, "Contemplating life and it's entanglements." Matter of fact.
