(This was written soon after my screen-name was given to me, and I wrote it to describe my way of thinking towards Women, Love, and Life. Of course, like my other poems, it's written in the theme of a Knight in the middle-ages, but its the meaning behind the words that count. It was read once by a friend who is a published poet, and who hosted a Poetry talk show on Yahoo Radio. It was voted on and won 1st place, and my "reward" was to read it aloud, Live, on the radio show, to people around the world. I was deeply Honored) ... Now the Poem.

~ ~ ~ An Ode to the Sensuous Knight ~ ~ ~

( Intro )
There is a man, so gentle, soft and kind,
A Knight who yields a mighty sword to fight.
His Lady's Honor, he doth serve and protect,
From all perils that may come her way.
He takes his sword, his lance, his heart,
And at the very feet of his Lady fair,
On bended knee, there he doth bestow them.
For Her, this Knight, would give his life,
At the mere softness of her whisper.
Yes, this Knight, so chivalrous and brave,
Would give his Sword, His Love, His very Soul
To protect and serve His Lady's Honor.

Oh, my Knight, in metal armor bright and strong,
My protector and lover, you shall be my guardian.
For when all my darkest fears abound,
When all the deepest hurts and pains flow,
When all the perils of my life rear their heads,
When my whole world seems nothing but strife,
When pain, woe and fear invade my kingdom,
You are the Knight, that protects my heart, body and soul.
You save me from the Dragons and dark of night.
You Honor me with your devotion and your love.
You serve me well with your mighty Sword,
And protect my own life with yours.
Whom shall I fear, with you at my side?
You, my Knight in shining armor, shall be there,
To defeat all my ogres in one deft blow.
You are My Knight, mounted on your mighty steed.
You, my Knight, are the one I long for and desire,
You my Knight shall my savior, always be.
When enemies come my way to terrorize,
When foes come to destroy with strife,
When strangers come to plunder and pillage,
When fears come in to try and steal my joy,
When vulnerability threatens to take all my peace,
You My Knight, shall come as my hero and rescue me.
You shall ride on my behalf, with my favor upon your lance.
You My Knight, shall take up my cause and fight till the end.
You My Knight, shall rise to my purpose and slay my enemies.
You Are My Knight, that will come and take my heart for thine own.
Oh My Knight, my love, in your shining armor bright,
Do hasten to return to the side of this Lady fair.
My Knight, upon your great white stallion,
Shall ride onward with this Lady at his hand.
And together, We, My Knight and His Lady,
Shall forever be united as one heart and soul.
In the splendor of love, we shall stay,
In peace of heart, we shall live,
And pure joy shall be our fare.
We shall be as only true lovers can,
Devoted to one, each to the other,
Never more to be torn apart.
For I am Your Loving Lady,
And you are My Sensuous Knight.

My precious Lady, so beautiful you are to me,
Your heart and soul are purer than finest diamonds,
Your long golden hair flows like liquid sunlight,
Your blue eyes sparkle, like starlit pools beckoning me to swim,
How could I be anything else but your lover, protector and guardian?
Your heart beats in union with my own and forever shall I guard it.
Without you, my precious Lady, in my thoughts, my heart, my soul,
There would be but an empty hollowness within my armor.
So could ever there be doubt, that for you, I wield my sword?
If ever a threat to your happiness be,
If ever peril, woe or pain, try to invade your world,
I will be there to serve and protect my Lady fair.
I will vanquish and conquer all that dare to do you harm,
No consequence the number or strength of your enemies,
I shall banish and defeat all that rise against you.
Your dragons I shall slay, your ogres I will destroy,
With my very life I shall defend your honor and victorious I shall be.
Nevermore shall you know pain, fears or sorrow,
For with happiness and joy, I will fill your life.
No more worries or strife shall invade your soul,
For I will give you my strength, my devotion, my love,
And from it you will know serenity, peace and comfort.
By my side, you will be, and on my shoulder lay your head to rest,
If you tire, I will be there to lift you, and on my steed you shall ride.
In my Castle walls, you shall know no harm, no stress,
For my sword, my passion and romantic love will always be yours.
From my towers, I will show you the stars, and at your slightest wish,
I will bring the one you desire, assuring your dreams to come true.
I will live my life devoted to the happiness of your own,
Forever we will be as one, and yes, joy will be our fare.
We shall be as only true lovers can,
Devoted to one, each to the other,
Never more to be torn apart.
For You are My Loving Lady,
And I am Your Sensuous Knight.
