STORMS
Im sitting as the wind is howling the rain is beating down,and the lightning has the sky lite up ,the thunder echoing through the house,I see at a distance the flashing of red and blue lights as they whisk down the road close to my home,fear races through my heart as to think someone could be in seriuos trouble on this oh so violent night.I spring from my resting place to peak out my window,seeing the raw power of mother nature as she unleashed 80mph straight winds,the lights they flicker once,then twice,and on the third time they go out,I feel humbled and without control as I sit in the dark listening helplessly as the storms one after another race past our community.I realise that in an instant anyone at anytime can be taken from our lives,as the blink of an eye,oh how humbling and thought provoking it can be to sit powerless,hoping for everyones best,I feel heavy eyed as the storms violence slowly comes to and end, as I drift off to sleep I feel a presence one of peace and balance
