Well, I am tall, large and bald (usually)...by choice! I am an alumni of Boston University, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I was a four-year Varsity Rower while I attended as well.

I am a veteran of the US Air Force, where I served as a Civil Engineer Officer, I have since transferred my commission to Reserve status. I have lived in and/or traveled to more than 30 countries all over the world!

I enjoy travel, reading, history and good friends! I enjoy reading and writing my own poetry, I have a website with about 100 but msot of them are in my Dunno Stash! I started uploading them too, just ask for a link to my website.

I have lived overseas for 2 of the last 6 years but I am back and not going anywhere for a while!

I care more than most for the simpler things in life and I always show as much respect for others as I feel I am due in return!

I have 2 children of my own, Abigail and Gabriella, who I love very much and 3 other children, who I love very much as well.

I love both participating in and watching sports of any kind, I am very into UFC/MMA! I am a diehard New England sports fan, I have been my whole life, good, bad and ugly times included!

I was VERY briefly married once, technically...but it was a hopelessly futile attempt at nobility, I knew in my heart I could not do it, but I had to try for my daughter's sake! It lasted as long as the time it took me to end it, 4 months!! I do not regret having tried though, even though it cost me my best friend at the time!!

I am equally comfortable being the center of attention or left alone. I enjoy learning and experiencing new things an have a knack for being able to remember just about anything that I have ever seen! I have an Eidetic memory and have been compared to both Cliff Claven and Will Hunting! LOL

I am very polite, to the point that others have become uncomfortable! I use the terms: Sir, Ma'am, Thank you, Please, etc...I guess that makes some people uncomfortable! I hold doors open for strangers, let others in front of me in lines and never raise my voice in anger!

I am very intelligent and I know it, which seems to make others very uncomfortable as well, perhaps it is a sign of their perceived inadequacies, I am not sure! Sometimes people mistake me as being condescending as a result of that! I am almost never wrong, but when I am I will be the first to let you know!

I have been called "old fashioned" and idealistic, but I have also been called other, not so nice names!!

I have traveled extensively all over the world, but have not been able to do anything for the last 2 years! I very much look forward to being able to continue that passion again very soon!

I have a very eclectic mix of music I enjoy, from rap to classical. Some of my favorites are Janis Joplin, Biggie and Tupac, Creed, Joe Satriani, Chris Daughtry, Disturbed, Led Zep, etc...

Favs are: 300, Good Will Hunting, Braveheart, A Few Good Men, Princess Bride, Titanic and Gladiator

CSI (all of them), Criminal Minds, Extreme Makeover:Home Edition, Law & Order (all of them), American Justice, Cold Case Files, King Of Queens, Heroes...I watch all the UFC that I can happen upon...I enjoy watching all the NE area teams play, when they were losing as well as now that they are winning consistently!
