I'm FURIOUS with our USMC! I'm positive this type of bullshit happens in all of the branches however!
Back in 1999 when my daughter was a high school senior she was approached by a Marine recruiter and enlisted into the Marines as her plan for after graduation, which only the good Lord knew how much a taste of reality my daughter needed! Even if she only survived boot camp I was sure it could only be a positive thing for her!
Long story short, from January when she enlisted until maybe March it was Sgt, then as time passed it became a first name basis only. Before we'd realized it they'd been dating!
YES.... This 24yr old MARRIED RECRUITER was not only dating my high school senior, but the week of her graduation they assured themselves of her not going to boot camp in Sept, or the Marines at all, with a PREGNANCY!
Also, during these months of joy, during a verbal argument between he and I in my front yard, he assaulted me by taking both hands and shoving them into my chest so hard he laid me flat on my back.
I was so angry at the whole situation I got on the phone with anyone and everyone who would listen in the Marine Corp! Not too long after I'd done my rant he was no longer a Recruiter, and to my knowledge was in reserves or something to that nature. Then I was told he was in inactive reserves or something,and before I knew it he was out of the Marines.
I'm sorry for my assumptions, but common sense would dictate this man receive some MAJOR PUNISHMENT for not only committing adultery as a MARRIED Recruiter but this was HIS RECRUIT!!
Now... 7-8 yrs later this man got custody of my 2 grandbaby girls by perjuring himself repeatedly on the stand in their child custody hearings. One of his comments was that he'd gotten an HONORABLE DISCHARGE!!
Ok... mind wondering now.... is this man committing perjury again? or is this a damn military cover-up??

This man was Court Marshaled. He was found GUILTY on 2 different counts!!
His punishment....he was demoted from Recruiter.
He was in reserves when discharged and was given so HONORABLY!!
Sorry big guys .. I LOVED the MARINES until this point. Just knowing there is not a damn thing ANYONE can do at this point FUCKING SUCKS.
If ANYONE reads this and has any REAL knowledge that this has potential to NOT be over regarding his discharge PLEASE PLEASE let me know!!
