I'm thinking of poems
And lyrics to write.
I stay up with coffee
All thru the night.
I search for the words
Just to make it rhyme.
And I often wonder
Am I wasting my time?
I'm sitting at the window
Staring at the rocks.
All I can find
Are these damn mental blocks.
I hope it comes together
Once around the bend.
I believe it has
Cause,
I've reached my end.
