I wrote this for my grandpa who died. He was buried on my birthday two years ago.
~Memory lives on~
I’m in heaven looking down on you
And I’ll be there with everything you go through.
I may be gone but you’ll be in my heart.
I’ll be in heaven with a fresh new start.
Until the day we meet again
I pray that you are now at peace.
I realized it was time to let you go
Although I will always love and miss you so.
When someone special passes on
It does not mean they are gone.
Though they are no longer with us
Their memory still lives on.
