He controls your emotions as if you are a puppet on a string,

I make you happy until he causes rain

I try to be your umbrella,

To shelter you from all the pain,

But he is like venom deep in your veins.

Poisonous is this fella, 

Please learn to refrain, 

Can't you see, he is just venomous and vain?

 

If I left tomorrow and never came back, would you miss me?

If i showed up at your door dressed sharp as a tack, would you kiss me?

If I were rain, would you run for cover or twirl about and dance in me enjoying nature's phenomenon? 

If I were snow, would you hide from me next to the fire place, or come out and throw me about in a friendly fight?

If I were sunshine, would you bathe in me, or slather on the sunscreen in fear that I may cause cancer?

If I were a wind, would you let me run my cool fingers through your hair, or would you tie it back and let me pass you by?

If i showed you who I am, would you accept me? 

Or would you just be like the rest and say, "You're sweet, but..." then run like hell and/or just be polite?

If I told you I can't live without you...

 

WHAT'S THE ONE THING YOU WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING? (a question a friend of mine just recently asked all of her friends,my answer follows, you are welcome to write or comment your answer, it is an intrigueing question.) What do I want more than anything? Your happiness, and I use the word "Your" both in reference to you specifically and the rest of the world as well. See I figure if You, and the world could all just find happiness, then perhaps I could find happiness as well... Isn't that really what anybody wants? Happiness? We as a society throw that word around loosely, as if we know what it means wholeheartedly, but can any one of us truly, without a doubt in our minds, say that we have experienced true happiness? Your favorite place is on the back of your horse, but that moment of bliss that you feel while you are there, is it truly the REAL definition of happiness? And, If so... how do we take that brief moment of bliss and learn how to experience it for the rest of our lives, day in and day out? We all have our form of your riding on your horse...can we all duplicate that feeling throughout our daily lives though? If so, then thats what I want, a life long duplication of that blissful moment.

Hmm... Should I? Should I let it fall? My wall I mean? I have it there to protect me But sometimes it seems it hurts me I wanna let it down for you, but im scared... Ur in love with him and thats just fine... I wld share... just to be a part of ur life... But i dont think u or him will... I know i love you, I know i like you, I know i want you, but i think it is a pointless mission... I know you like me, I know you love me, And I think you might be starting to want me... However, he treats u right, And i kno i cant compete with time when he is so damn sweet, I care... This is for sure... But do i wanna let myself fall? I dunno.. maybe you shld tell me?

as i sit here, i talk to you... fallin more in love with you...

fallin fast but tryin hit the brakes,

hit them, hit them, hit them NOW!

I tell myself this, but my heart resists...

so i ask, what happens when the unstopable meets the unmovable?

hmm is it a crash, a crack, a broken heart?

maybe it is just a limbo...

a place where all time stops and just... Argues

Argues until one decides to give or the other forces the take...

so here my heart and mind are..

in limbo

a place of no progress

no understanding

no... peace

i fight myself more and more everytime i speak to you

i long more and more to be with you the longer i am with out you...
