Twinkle
so this is what ive become
i dont need a mirror to see
its not the same as on the inside
its not that easy being free
looking above to comprehend
the magnitude of all im not
shooting star to catch my eye
a shimmering of this imperfect thought
don't bring me down dont ground me now
content to be in this harmony
not drawn in to the pedantic self
unrestrained by my own mediocrity
i can only be what my mind allows
in the emptiness of chosen chaos
i cling i crawl i scream in defeat
it all means nothing through the paths i cross
ill try not to fight what is to come
let defenses crumble and grow cold
and accept its alright for me to be
a twinkling star if not the most bold
