Endgame

Let's go back twenty years. More than that.I'm 45 now. I was in my twenties. I was collecting comic books. I would buy anything that I could get my hands on. I had my usual pulls. When you get your stuff at a comic shop, pulls are like reservations. The store pulls a copy of whatever book you have requested. Mine consisted of X-Men, Silver Surfer, etc. I had like 20 books on pull. Anyway, comic shops would also pull specials, like crossovers if it contained a majority of the books you were already getting.

One month, there was a different book in my pull box. It was "Infinity Gauntlet, #3" The tone, the characters, everything was spot on. I decided to get the rest of the six part crossover. It was exciting. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie that I saw. The nerd in me is wishing that Disney had bought out Fox WAY sooner.

I would have had an end credits scene of the Silver Surfer kneeling before Galactus and saying "It will be done". I don't know what Marvel Entertainment group is planning. I wish that I did. I can only express what I think would make sense. If you thought Thanos was bad, Galactus devours entire worlds.

I know everyone is going gaga over Captain Marvel because she is the first female Marvel character to headline her own movie. In the comics, The Silver Surfer is far more powerful. What a nod to comics fans that would be...sigh

If you are a fan, what has it meant for you to watch this epic journey that the Marvel movies have taken you on?
