You must live for the moment that you are captured in, and that moment only. Consequences or even second thinking can only result in changing fate itself. I believe that the moment is who I am. The moment is what we all live for, yet only few actually live it to the fullest. I can remember the feeling of being in the deepest of love and the cold pain of being hurt in the worst way. I have been self centered and selfish. I have laughed till it hurts and cried until I though there was nothing left. I have been conservative and honest and I have been free and lied. I have been passionate and inspired. I've been rejected by what I want and accepted by what I didn't. I have been embarrassed and have embarrassed others. I have been the center of attention and I have wanted to disappear completely. I have been as shallow as a puddle and deep as the ocean. I have listened to my heart and ignored my conscious. I have learned to listen to that inner voice; it can be your best friend. I live everyday with a clean slate. I try to take my lessons from the past to make good choices for my future. Life is very precious and each day you can meet someone who teaches you that we are all connected on some level. I can always relate to something about them or something they have been through. I think compassion for others is the most important quality a person can have.
