When you meet the right person,
nobody can tell you anything.
All you can do is think about
the joy and happiness they could bring.
You think about their hugs and kisses
and just being held in their arms.
You think about the stormy and scary nights
and how they can keep you safe and warm.
You think about the late night conversations
that the two of you could have.
You think about the jokes she would probably tell
and how she can always make you laugh.
You wonder if she thinks about you
the way you think about her all the time.
You wonder and think to yourself,
"Will she ever be mine?"
You hope that she calls you today
because you wanna talk to her really bad.
You hope that if she doesn't call,
you won't be too disappointed and sad.
You hope that she can fill that empty space
and give you the affection you think you lack.
You hope she loves you too
because it's a sad feeling
when the person you love doesn't love you back
